Wildcard Expression Builder
You open the Wildcard Expression Builder by clicking the ellipsis in any field that allows wildcards to be entered. You use wildcards, instead of entering multiple individual items, to make data entry in your data grids and spreadsheets more efficient and more manageable.
Fields on the Wildcard Expression Builder form

| Wildcard expression |
The wildcard expression string that is applied to the field. If you type an expression in this field that uses wildcards, all of the matches appear in the Expression results field. |
| All items |
The list of every item available for the field. If you double-click an item in this field, it is added to the Wildcard expression and to the Expression results list. |

The list of results for the Wildcard expression you created. |
